A bit more about me…

I grew up in Tempe, Arizona and graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with degrees in Political Science and Global Studies. I went on to earn my M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Iowa, where I also developed a deep appreciation for rigorous, community-engaged research.

I'm currently based in the Chicago area and looking for my next professional chapter — one where I can bring the skills I've built as a researcher, analyst, and educator to new kinds of challenges. I care deeply about issues of gender equity, human rights, and evidence-based decision-making, and I'm drawn to work that connects those values to real, positive impact.

Outside of work, I'm kept busy enjoying life with my husband Michael (a fellow Iowa Ph.D.), our infant son Caleb, and our sweet pittie Lilah.
