Hi, I’m Lindsey! (she/her/hers) I am an Assistant Professor of International Relations in the Department of Political Science at the University of Florida. I am also an affiliate faculty member of the University of Florida’s Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science and a Graduate Certificate in Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Iowa in 2022. My research focuses on the intersections of gender and armed conflict, specifically examining sexual and reproductive violence and women’s participation in armed rebellions across the globe. I employ a student-centered teaching philosophy in my undergraduate and graduate courses, encouraging pluralism in the study of international relations.Want to know more about my research and teaching?
